The Taxation Liaison Committee's mission is to establish and maintain relationships with federal and state tax agencies in order to impact tax policy and administration through thought leadership and engagement.

Committee chair Robbin Caruso attends the IRS Communications & Liaison National Public Liaison and shares information that is presented at those meetings. She also represents the Academy on a joint IRS/Tax Professional Working Group to strengthen national-level engagement with the tax professional community and improve the effectiveness of the monthly IRS Practitioner Meetings.
